Stroud Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild welcomes new members. You don't need to be an expert - we have all levels of competence. Come and listen to one of our talks at Whitminster to get a feel for what we do and maybe enrol on one of our Workshops. We do hand sewing and machine embroidery. Samples of the sort of items we create are shown below.
